I was going through the music on my iPhone and I realized if I lost it and someone tried to figure out who I was by the music on it they'd probably go looking for a Spanish Speaking, Black, Hawaiian, Country Western, Jazzman.
Really, I have this whole section filled with Spanish lessons that I've never listen too because half of it's in Spanish. Spanish that sounds like Colombia School of Broadcasting Spanish. It's like:
Spanish Guy: "Hola and please listen closely and repeat after me 'Habla mas despacio por favor" DING
Me: "Abla mass depreciation poor matador. DING
Spanish Guy: "Very good. Now say, Mi esposa es en el carro" DING
Me: Uhhh I'm supposed to be in the cargo." DING
Spanish Guy: "Very good."
Which is why I lost interest because I know the guy is lying to me. Maybe if he were honest and said: DING "Mi Amigo, Su Espanol blows chunks."
Even though I don't really have any Country Western per se on my iPod I do have the Cowboy Junkies first album. I've been listen too it since it came out on tape. It's called The Trinity Session but I call it music to slit your wrists by. The album includes the saddest song ever written which is "I'm so lonesome I could cry" by Hank Williams. The Cowboy Junkies doing this song is like depression squared. Their version is capable of depressing someone who just won the lottery. It like "Hey, you just won 20 million dollars. "Yes!" (Hear the lonesome whippoorwill) "So how are you feeling?" (He sounds too blue to fly) "I'm okay I guess" (The midnight train is whining low) "So what the first thing you're going to get with your 20 million dollars?" (I'm so lonesome I could cry) "Well, I was thinking about buying a gun."
I also have and album called Aura by Miles Davis. I don't know why they didn't call it "You're too stupid to understand this" because I have been trying to wrap my mind around it for years. Why? Well, number one, it cost me 20 bucks and two, because it's Miles Davis I can't convince myself that maybe it just sucks.
